Party Page
Throw the best party ever! Choose a theme or just enjoy  relaxing  with friends and family.
We have ideas to get you started. A party does not have to be a lot of work. Use the resources available to you.

  Party Themes

  • Pizza Making- Get small individual pizza shells then with all the ingredients handy have the guests make their own little pizzas.
  • Survivor- Food is the fun, try chocolate "turtles", "gummy" bugs, "mud" pies, or anything fish and don't forget the rice!
  • Wine Tasting- Wine and cheese tasting- for a real special night have a local wine store suggest a variety of bottles.
  • Bon Appetite- Select a region of the world and have each person bring a part of the meal.
  • Beer Tasting- Have a few selections with simple food to go between, like humus and tortilla chips. End with a "dessert"
beer flavored with strawberry or raspberry.

Set the mood  with aprons and chef hats: Personalize them for that extra flare.
Choose between our top quality cottons and value lines for both children and adults. They also make great
party favors.

  Party Games

  • 3 legged race. Tie the kids ankles together with a bandana and have them hold a plastic cup of  water on a tray. Use this
to fill a jug. The first team to fill their jug wins.

  • Hide a picture or a name of a famous person under each placemat. Have your guest start describing things about this
person while everyone in the room guesses who it is.

  • The classic Pie Eating contest, tie their hands behind their back, put the pie on the table or the floor and see who eats
    their pie first!

  • A game starting in France in 1445 is the pancake race. The contestants wearing aprons & bandanas,  flip a pancake
over using just the pan and no spatula. They go around a cone holding the pan with the pancake in it, then at the end
of the race they have to flip the pancake one last time.

  • Buy a large poster board. Use various magazines and cut out pictures of famous people from a wide range of areas;
athletes, movie stars, politicians, CEO's etc... Put numbers by each person, give the partiers an answer sheet with all the numbers.
No helping between couples. Then after a set amount of time, go over the answers. See what couple gets the most right.
Tip: have a prize, and tell the partiers there is a prize, they will get into it more with a reward! Let the competition begin!

  • String maze, a children's game of  following a piece of string around a room and ending up with a prize at the end.
We have seen customers have the strings end with Chef Hats in a bag,  with the children's names embroidered on
them and then make pizzas with the kids, while they wear their new chef hats.

    Party Foods

Check out your local deli's and bakeries or the deli or bakery department at the grocery store. Its amazing what you
can find there! Great specialty items are now readily available. Ask what platters can be specially made. Your guests will
love it, who cares who made it! For adult parties have your guests bring ingredients or a finished dish. Those less skilled
cooks can bring blender mixes and ice to make frozen drinks for the gang. Plan foods that you can make ahead so you
can enjoy the party with your guests.
Try these: Single serve Pizzas
Chocolate "Buck-eyes" from the Buck-eye state, OH
Fondue: special oils for meat, cheese, or chocolate (Adult themes)
Omelets: make a family tradition for a holiday morning, or the morning after a "sleepover" party
Christmas cookie decorating

Decorations

Start with a themed front door wreath that welcomes your guests. Festive placemats, plates, and napkins,
fresh flowers, a flag of the countries the foods are from printed out and put on the front door.

  Party Tips

  • Music- have music playing in the background, it makes a nice atmosphere for the party. There are party mixes available in
music stores with adult and children's selections.

  • Make food ahead as much as possible. Make lists to keep you organized and the party will go much smoother. Less Stress!
  • If someone asks "what can I bring?", have a few reasonable suggestions on the tip of your tongue. They will appreciate
    being a genuine help.

Party Favors

  • Adult gourmet cooking clubs will love to have matching aprons or ones with their names on them. Never get your aprons
mixed up again! Hats are also a great addition to get everyone excited about the night.
  • Children's Cooking/ Cookie making birthday party favors can be a hat or apron, embroidered with the child's name,
    even better!
